Firstly SEO is not a career option for every jobless guy or anyone who does BBA/MBA or whatever.
it is just as any other career which has high competition to survive.
Just optimising a website based on some on-line articles is not SEO. In SEO, It’s not always 1+1=2
It’s about relevant traffic to the website, conversions and ROI, much more.
So decide whether you have got the talent, patience, enthusiasm, creativity, marketing skills, computer skills & mostly dedication and focus on the work.
Many people think SEO is something so easy based on what they read on-line, if it’s that easy not all the corporate companies would have invested thousands of dollars for an SEO professional.
I am not being rude, but want to give you the reality in this industry. In the next few years it’s going to change a lot and only few talented will survive.
It’s a false concept that a BBA or MBA degree holder can do better SEO than any other degree holder. This concept is totally incorrect, even a high school (12th grade) student can do better and understand SEO than a MBA degree holder. SEO is based on how strong your research, Knowledge is about search engine’s ranking factors and boats.
